A 32 y/o female named “Sue” presented to my office with problems with the inability to get pregnant. Her Gynecologist did one blood test for her hormone levels and said they were “normal”. No other recommendations were made. During my exam, I discovered a long history of menstrual issues (Dysmenorrhea) which had previously been treated with birth control. She previously had acne around a certain time of the month which was treated with a Rx. Using a hormone salivary test to plot SEVERAL days of various hormones levels during her cycle it was found she had the cycle length and hormone levels consistent with someone having Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). After our holistic approach for several months, her hormone levels and cycle length normalized, her ovulation normalized. Months later, baby girl “Brie” was born.

A 65 y/o woman was referred to my with having chronic sinus congestion. Chronic GI issue were also presenet. Antibiotic Rx did not clear it. After my exam and history I decided that doing a MycoTox test for mold exposure would be of value. A comprehensive stool test was also done which revealed several pathogens, an Immune Dysbiosis (histamine & mast cell response) and a lowered immune defense as a result. A positive test for mold was also revealed, so we began a mold-clearing and GI protocol. It was absolutely necessary to refer her to a company who does home mold testing. The testing confirmed positive for various home mold species. It was discovered that the highest levels of mold was found in the carpet of her front room. After treatment and home remediated, sinus issues are no longer present and MycoTox (urine) tests show no more mold.

“Mike” came to my office with annoying neck pain that wouldn’t go away after he saw his Chiropractor for a month. Seeking Acupuncture with me I questioned his injury history. No X-rays had ever been done. I asked if he had a fall or did he ever hit his head. He answered: “I have been very active all of my life and I currently lift weights to stay fit.” During our exam, I noticed an absence of a cervical spine curve and referred him to get an MRI. The first Acupuncture and FSM treatment allowed him and 80% increase in rotation and a “shoulder” irritation decreased to 20% off the day instead of all day. When the MRI results came back it was revealed to have multiple “old” injuries consistent with an injury to the head and/or neck with bony abnormalities. He also asked his mom if she knew any thing that that happened to him. She replied, “Don’t you remember you fell out of a tree and come home crying and crying when you were 8 years old?”

Mike is now back at the gym with a modified exercise program and happy he is pain-free with only minor muscle tension.
